Mr. Lucas is a previous senior executive with a proven record of aggressive marketing and sales goal achievements. Currently Mr. Lucas is a marketing consultant for many financial and retail organizations providing marketing strategies covering all phases of delivery systems including e-strategies.

Mr. Lucas was Vice President of Global Marketing & Business Development for 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union from 1995 – 2000. 1st Advantage is one of the largest credit unions in the world, ranking in the top 1% in membership and top 3% in asset size while also having a true global membership base with households located in all 50 U.S. states & 27 foreign countries.

An accomplished national speaker and promoter of the credit union philosophy within the credit union and financial services industry. Mr. Lucas is well known for his strong leadership abilities, work ethic and direct, honest and outspoken views. He is also skilled at the use of multi-media and new technologies to penetrate multiple target groups nationally and internationally.

During his five year tenure at 1st Advantage, in a very competitive geographic region of 72 local credit unions and 27 commercial banks he transformed a slumping credit union with a two year negative growth curve to grow over 30% net growth average over his five year tenure. During this period he also maintained an average L/S ratio of 87% while growing net capital assets from 7.8% to 10%.

Known as a self-motivated performer, highly organized, effective decision-maker and troubleshooter with extensive budgetary/RFP skills. Considered a national leader in credit union marketing/internet strategies, branding and public relations by credit union and financial publications, as well as, many respected CU executives nationwide.
